Backups & Restore

Automatic daily backups with 30-day retention. Restore your WordPress site with one click.

1Automatic Backups

Your WordPress site is automatically backed up:

  • Frequency: Daily at 3:00 AM (your timezone)
  • Retention: 30 days (Business/Professional plans)
  • Includes: Files, database, uploads, and configuration
  • Storage: Securely stored in a separate location

Starter plans include 7-day retention.

2View Backups

See all available backups:

  1. Go to your WordPress site dashboard
  2. Click "Backups" in the sidebar
  3. View list of all backups with dates and sizes

Each backup shows what's included and allows individual restore.

3Restore from Backup

Restore your site to a previous state:

  1. Go to Backups
  2. Find the backup you want to restore
  3. Click "Restore"
  4. Choose what to restore:
    • Full restore (files + database)
    • Files only
    • Database only
  5. Confirm the restore

Note: A backup of current state is automatically created before restore.

4Manual Backups

Create a backup anytime:

  1. Go to Backups
  2. Click "Create Backup Now"
  3. Add an optional note (e.g., "Before plugin update")
  4. Click "Create"

Manual backups don't count against your retention limit.

5Download Backups

Download backups for local storage:

  1. Go to Backups
  2. Click the download icon next to a backup
  3. Choose format:
    • Full archive (ZIP)
    • Database only (SQL)
    • Files only (ZIP)

Downloaded backups can be restored manually to any WordPress installation.
